People like you
are the reason
I try to avoid humanity
I try not to make friends
because they always
retreat
into themselves
and I am strangled
in my own anxiety
it seems that
I can never hold on
to anything
it's terrifying to
free-fall
through my life
people keep grasping on
they pull me up,
only to drop me
from an even higher
distance
I can't wait to
hit
the
ground.
