You left me broken
Lying on the floor
Shattered into pieces
I can't take it anymore.
You ripped my heart out
And tossed it away
I wanna look in a mirror
And feel beautiful today.
Beauty is a word
That we all despise.
Society set high standards
Now we all have to strive.
You told me I was pretty
But I guess you lied
I saw you burn a flower
And you watched as it died.
I don't need you anymore,
I'm better off this way
An advantage without you
Is I feel beautiful every day.
And to this day I don't regret
Letting you slam that door
I don't need you anyways,
You see,
I'm a warrior.

This is beautiful. I have been through a situation with a friend recently and this just made my day. Thank you.
