It seems people like to hate
Just because of me, why wait?
You see, metal isn't all you think
It is more than that, I can sink.

You may think it's about the devils and Satan
But it could be something much different
It could be hardships, fantasy, or actual stories.
Please, don't hate because it's metal.

Believe it or not
Metalheads are usually nice and peaceful
So why not?
Why do they not sound cheerful?

Though it's the genre with most innovation
There is simple music to enjoy
With this, you may start with convention
Or you may start with something Avant Garde.

Metal is more than you may think
If anything, it could encourage musicianship
Symphonic, Power, Progressive, and Folk
Some of my favorites and have melodiousness

Do give it a try
At least once
Call me a lie
But metal is a boss.

While you don't have to, if you like to try new things you always try heavy metal if you haven't already. You don't have to agree but I'm starting to branch out as well into say rap for example, so, you can too.

Much like Endless Forms Most Beautiful, I guess I manifested some energy. This time from all the haters in my school that seem to have a narrow mind on what metal is all about. I even addressed some stereotypes of metal to kind of add to the fact that most of the time, they're wrong.

Nice one, @theheavymetalist! This is very encouraging, and so true. I wish more people were open to trying new things.
