Disconnect

We are all connected.
Our roots grow in the same soil, and we are watered by words
and feelings and lies that tell us to disconnect.
Well, I'm pulling the plug.
The solitude and freedom offered on the less beaten path calls to
me. Loneliness is immaterial, I want to feel weightless.
I don't want to be held back by the roots of this usless
plant.
