For an old friend

In the rush we are in,
Never forget the love we held for each other.
Never forget those laughs.
Never forget the dreams we saw,
And never forget the paths we walked.
For it hurts to forget.
Forget days that filled smiles. !
But it hurts even more- to remember the days passed.
For we know- they are lost.
Memories are bitter-sweet!
Find a smile somewhere,
For it will mend your heart.
A smile.
Just that. And forgive.
Find a place my dear!
A place to laugh again.
A place, to live again.
