Beacon Of Light

I float around shining, bright yellow and cheerful,
This is usually me.
I shine radiantly everywhere I go
with a bright smile on my face.
But some days my light fades,
and I am as gray as a storm cloud.
My thoughts are muffled and scattered,
and I can not seem to see the light of day.
A beacon of light shines through the fog,
and He washes my gray away.
His light is strong enough to pierce
the darkest of days,
and to Him I shall forever pray.

This is a two-toned poem which sums up the roller coaster life I have.
