"The only person in this world who can write your life story is you. Don't hand the pen over to someone else just because they made one chapter miserable."

You pierce me with your eyes.
They tear gaping holes through my heart.
Your words eliminate me from the room.
I admit this all.
I'm slowly crumbling to dust in this dark chasm known as my body.
It's turning into ashes from the flames of your criticism.

That boy you have by your side,
He's not an item.
He's a human being.
I know him.
I know how he thinks.
I know his heart.
You think that you own it.

His rhythmic beating pulses the same message to his brain every time.
"Let me out, please."
Look at those sea-green eyes of his.
They're down on their knees every night,
Praying.
Look at my quivering lip,
Absorbing the moisture from those tears I cry into my pillow.
I'm dying because you're torturing him.

I know you still care for me though.
Somewhere deep inside that soul is the friend I know and love.
But even bad things happen to the best of us,
And the good never lasts.

Now I want to scar you forever,
And leave you with a lesson that you will never forget.
I can't do that though,
Because it will mean stooping down to your level.
The level filled with raw hatred.

There was a lot of emotional stuff packed into this piece. I am currently in the middle of a friend-war with a couple of my friends. This is my way of getting the bad vibes out of my head.
