"Let's be honest. If you're not weird you're not living your life to its full extant."

His words are nails.
Sharp, rusting nails.
They're piercing me.
They're coming from everywhere,
Every direction.
Draining my body of its essence.
I'm a lifeless rag doll,
lying on the floor in pieces,
scattered and trampled as the outside world moves on without me.
Forgetting me all together,
erasing me from the world.
I'm the extinct being.
The one forgotten by time and curiosity.
Because he came at me I'm on the floor,
the vocal point of others' games.
Their darts puncturing my insides
and pouring them out.
He couldn't have me,
so he put me down,
he took his pain out on me.
He said I was his light
but he was the one that put me out.
Now I'm only an extinct being.
Trampled by the oncoming storm, wasted away by their curiosity.

But wait.
The storm has ceased,
Someone's peering through the darkness and gazing at me.
I think they're reaching out to me,
trying to help me up.
They're pulling my lifeless body from the floor,
draping me across their open arms and carrying me to safety.

Don't worry this piece is fictional, I'm not being bullied. I promise.

"The only person in this world who can write your life story is you. Don't hand the pen over to someone else just because they made one chapter miserable."
