An eye-catching orange
dancing passionately to an
uneven beat,
with lickers of red
weaving through the collage.
A friendly warmth
embracing all those nearby

What don’t they discern?

A low cackle of coals
and a precious glow shines
throughout exhibit,
inspiring those who can also appreciate art.

Why can’t they enjoy this?

And finally, the billowing
dark cloud engulfs the streets
leaving behind a trail of scorch marks,
and harsh screams of immense pain
followed by coughs for help.

My greatest piece of work,
a five alarm fire,
will never properly be appreciated.
