Writers hangover
When you come home
with too many ideas,

too much, for one head.

It's like you need two,

or something like that.
And you have so many ideas
it makes you hate the fact
that they have to be written down

with one hand,

because one feeble hand

cannot hanle this much

conviction.

And you’re just so full of notion
Writing is the
best and worst thing
that’s ever happened.

Ever
It’s the most frustrating thing ever
you just want to open your brain
cut yourself open
split in half
just to get it all
down
but somehow
they keep on coming
never stopping
and you’re having
a freakin’ heart attack
or an aneurism
at
the
same
time.
But it’s the best thing ever
you love it
but you hate it
you want more time
but there’s work
things must go down
there are deadlines
and that sucks
I need more time

Time
but she passes me in the hallway
she’s independant
she doesn’t stop for anything
and maybe I shouldn't either.
because I have writers hangover
and it’s horribly amazing

BEFORE YOU SKIP THIS ON OVER IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ALCOHOL!!!!! Ok, now that we have that out of the way, I just wanted to say that poem is indeed one of those spur of the moment things....
