Loyal
You never were
Always to busy
Loyal to her
Hurtful to me
Loving her
Leaving me
A new family
No room for me
No room to breathe
Locked in my room
A prisoner chained to her cell
No control
Scared to make a wrong move
Scared to death to speak a word
A silent plea for help
Someone get me out
The day fades away
With the passing Sun
I watch as pieces of myself
Fade away
Today turns into tomorrow
Tomorrow turns into the next day
The days fade away as the ghost of my past self goes with them
I've become unrecognizable
Even to myself
The mask you forced me to wear has become who I am
I tear away at my own skin
Trying to get the mask off
Getting back to the real me
