I’m smiling and I’m hanging out with you,
but I’m checking my phone more than I should and it’s starting to hurt to hold the smile and I’m saying I’m really tired and I go to bed
and I’m crying and listening to Taylor Swift in the dark and I’m still checking my phone more than I should
only this time I’m holding my breath for a text message from you that I know won’t ever come
and this is the fifth time this song has played but I’m too tired to get up and change it
and I’m too tired to stop crying and I’m too tired to keep breathing.
