Dear Consumers,

I would like to thank you
For all of the power
For all of the wealth

I would like to thank you
For helping me build
For helping me burn

I would like to thank you
For killing your children
For killing yourself

I would like to thank you
For being so stupid
For being so blind

I would like to thank you
For making me tremendous
For making me priceless

It all happens in my favor
This should not have worked
Yet you never fail to fail

A god of kings,
A king of gods,
And one to rule them all

What a unique perspective you've highlighted here! I really enjoy how actually honest this poem is without seeming to drag on or be depressing. You managed to address a heavy topic with a lighthearted approach and still maintain an effective message to society on top. Give yourself a pat on the back! This is a great short poem.
