Eyes Between the Trees
It’s dark and all that can be seen are the eyes of an individual between trees.
The eye are big, bright, and act as if they are looking through you.
You can’t help but ask yourself “Is there someone there or is it my conscious?”
The blue eyes peek through the trees and into your skin as if it’s a part of you.
The eyes whisper “What have you become? Can you see yourself?”
You look and see the monster you’ve become. “Who is that?”
You realize the eyes you see and are talking to are your own.
You have changed and now you realize how drastic it really was.
Life has hit you...turned you into what you never wanted to be.
Let the eyes change you back to what you used to be.
This new you isn’t the way you deserve to be.
Someone turned you into the worst version of yourself.
The eyes are slowly fading away as you realize this.
The last thing they tell you is...
Be true to who you are
