Mrs. Gamechanger
You came
You left
I had awaken
Then never slept
From your arrival
Chances were given
As time had passed
Those chances turned myths
Life lessons occurred
From dire moods
You always appeared
To cleanse those wounds
You changed me
Molded me new
We became closer
Stuck together like glue
Alas one day
One dreadful, horrid day
The glue lost its strength
You could say it decayed
Now nothing is left
Except small talk and looks
Wishing time could change course
To before those mistakes ran loose
I try to bid the farewell
But my feet refuse to walk
My mind forgets to think
My mouth just won’t talk
I laid there
My body at a stalemate
Clueless with a side of helpless
Resisting the signs of self-hate
However, that’s in the past
Realization had hit like a storm
You had changed my life for the better
Better than any person could have performed
Even though I never got to say thank you
For taking me away from the danger
You still will always be the best
The girl I call Mrs. Gamechanger.
