The twinkly lights blurred
Pulsing red and blue
Green and yellow
The noise of the room faded
In and out
In and out
He tasted like cheap beer and cigarettes
His neck checkered
in purple bruises
Like ink blotches over his paper white skin
He was quiet
Quiet words
Quiet breath
Quiet kisses
Quiet moans
I was gone
Bleary-eyed
Loud!
I was all heavy breathing
Long hair
and hungry kisses
Aching to mend a torn piece of me
Buried deep inside
my chest
