Here's a Rose
January 8, 2015
I write you a letter,
a confession of love,
perhaps it'd be better,
if we were above,
Lost in the skies,
the wind in our hair,
Falling as she flies,
I can't catch air,
The ground is far,
I chose to soon,
But there you are,
By the moon.
I lay back,
I rest my head,
Panic attack,
I'm in my bed,
It's a new day,
New things,
A new way,
My heart rings,
The skies are grey,
You're up above,
I have no way,
To tell you my love.
So here it goes,
My message to you,
Here's a rose,
I love you.

This is about a girl I'm in love with, who I've been rejected by three times out of the seven years I've known her. I always try to tell her every single thing on my mind, but I think if anything is going to work at this point it's a simple three words.
