Favorite Quote:
I have a lot to say. I'm just a teen girl, trying to tell a story in the only way I know how.

Worthless is the world where
nothing matters anymore, yet every choice pushes your future nearer the edge.
Worthless is the world where
you’re alone at last, yet your worries overwhelm the feeling.
Worthless is the world where
feelings are stored in boxes, yet everything you feel makes you cry to sleep at night rather than enjoy a lullaby.
Worthless is the world where
trust and empathy don’t exist, yet it's what you wish for on every passing star.
Worthless is the equator
that we all end up crossing between perseverance and giving up.
Maybe Worthless is me.
I broke the barrier.
I am trapped in the body of Worthless,
the only people that could help me to escape
are the people that pushed me here.
Until then,
I’ll keep climbing this rope
that my life dangles from,
hoping that I won’t reach the top-
the top means the end.
Hoping that it will stretch beyond infinity.
Hoping to be a flower:
Survive the worst of storms,
and somehow blossom in the rays of light.
Hoping that I will eventually escape
the body of Worthless.

If you've read my poem, "The Body of Worthless", this is the edited version of that poem. I wanted to re-post it, to improve it.
