I haven't written in months

And I've tried to figure out why

I've tried to come up with a solution

But not have sufficed

My best guess is that my creativity

Has been pushed aside

By a more analytical world

Where numbers and learning come first

I allowed this world of knowledge

About the cells and energys

Come before my passion and

Crowd my brain

And essentially take over

My artistry

My focus is no longer my words to paper

But the business cycle and how chemicals react

I should shift that focus back

I could if I tried

Return back to my creative brain

Maybe I will one of these days

And write once more
