Forever seemed like diamond
Shining and indestructible
But our forever was a fake
Deceiving and treacherous
The song that I sang always came true
Miraculous and divine
But then my song failed, for she stole the lyrics
Empty and Silent
She gave them to someone else and I continued to sing
But nobody was even listening
I tried again but yet again I failed
Nobody was listening
She was not listening
