Everybody please remain calm-
It was me who turned out the lights.
I've come to tell
That fear is one of our species
Most primary emotions
And is one of the few we share
With the entire animal kingdom.
At one point or another, everyone acts out of fear.
What's important is knowing to what degree of fear you should have in any specific situation
And using it to your advantage
Both your own fear
And that of others.
It is also one of our most progressive and influential emotions;
Without fear, we may well not have the lightbulb
As its inventor, Sir Thomas Edison
Feared the dark
It is perhaps our most influential
In the fact that had I not turned out the lights when I first entered this room
You may well be ignoring me now
