The Black Cat

The black cat always sits there
Hanging on, bells in a pair
Ringing pleasantly, I sit and listen
As its dark emerald eyes glisten
I open my window to let it in
It walked so quietly, you could drop a pin
It pauses to look
like i'm a crook
Slowly he comes, his tail in the air
His bells ring, in a pair
There he sat
Just me and the black cat
