Every day I ask my coach for the ball
He is glad I ask, as I am the best on the team
The season I am in right now is the fall
One day I hope to make it big and live my dream
Since a young age I have loved this game
Through the rough times, the ups and downs
I hope my love for the game will stay the same
With my career lasting forever
Baseball to me is life
To others it is a game
I always play the game hard and right
Even when no one is watching
