Love Is...

I thought love was
Beautiful and sweet
That when the time came
Our eyes would meet
And we’d just know
We’d know that it was love
But that’s not it
Love is needing them
It’s wanting to hold them
It’s like they hold a part of you
And you don’t always get it back
Love makes you do stupid things
And even though you love them
With all your heart,
They don’t always love you back.
