Thirst MAG

We buzz around with metallic wings,
And drill our wrought-iron suckers deep,
Deep into the skin of our prey.
We are everywhere, we cover the globe
Our thirst for blood insatiable
Our numbers growing
A black haze over our eyes
As our prey begins to wither.
We have become the bane of our own
existence.
But we pay it no mind
As we crush a mosquito beneath our fingers
And wonder why it is they even exist at all.
