He stares at her day after day
Never having the courage to talk to her
His day brightens every time he sees her
Her smile warms him
He stares from afar, still timid when near
The process begins again, but she walks over to him
He speaks first, unsure what to say
She talks to him and makes jokes
He laughs at them all
Every moment he is enjoying himself
But then she leaves for another man
He reverts back to watching from afar
One day she approaches him and hands him an ivory envelope
He dares not look until she’s gone

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

This is amazing. It's absolutely wonderful. The end is very good, and it makes the people who read your poem, wonder what happened next. All in all, it's beautiful. Full of emotion and your happenings, if that makes sense. Thank you for sharign this!
