She wore her worry like a scarf wrapped ’round her neck too tightly
She wore her confidence like a bracelet
that kept sliding off
She wore her sorrow like a heavy coat
five sizes too large
She wore her joy like a mask fake
through and through
She wore depression like she wore her skin

I wore black

"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." - Robert Frost

I read this poem today in my Creative Writing Class in South Carolina (US). It really struck a chord with me and I just wanted to let you know that I really loved it and I thought it was very well written

I enjoyed this poem because it reminded me of my friend also, and I liked the word usage of it. I liked how you amped your way up to it... "She wore depression like she wore her skin" What a twist. Great job.

"Miss Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?"

I really like this, the tones are dark but not overly so. Well done. And the /p/ comes from enters, so it may be when youre copy and pasting from one program to the other. Not entirely sure though.

Dear Readers: I apologize for the annoying "<p>" symbols. I have no idea why they're there but I definitely agree they are annoying to read through. Thank you for your patience.
