I look to and from
I glance this way and that
But see nothing,
Nothing but darkness
My shouts echo back
My screams end as soon as they escape
I reach and I stretch but can feel nothing
I jerk and I twist but go no where
I am rooted in a pit of desire
Yet I still fight
For life
