simple is the mind that cannot count to ten
simple is the daisy just around the bend
simple is the air we breathe every single day
simple is the knowledge we are not here to stay
Elaborate is the mind grown up, it can’t stop thinking now
Elaborate is the daisy, how it’s woven in a crown
Elaborate is the air we breathe, filled with stardust
Elaborate is the question how we will make our lives up
simple is the mind as it thinks one last time
simple is the daisy, wilting off the vine
simple is the air that’s no longer in our lungs
simple is the fact that what we did on earth is done
