Uluru
a cathedral
in red
facades and alcoves
with the hushed breath
of the desert sand
through its arches
in silence.

And, in the yellow-blue light,
the flat shadows of every clump of dirt,
burst of petal,
sliver of grass,
bows, loyal, towards
Uluru

Uluru.
