What is this place?
This place they call home
No, not home.
Home is a memory
fading with the wind
Replaced with
promises, hopes, dreams
This place,
foreign by design
has happiness,
joyfulness, amazement
for all
But me.
This deceptive paradise
with it's inhabitants,
friendly among their own,
Is not home.
Home can
Never be moved
Never replaced
Never changed.
But, perhaps sometimes,
Home can be,
Rebuilt.
