P.S: I can’t sleep without you
I heard somewhere it’s a symptom,
of someone missing someone-
That was when I knew
Insomnia isn’t just from stress,
But from loneliness.
I miss your voice and your low laugh,
and most of all the look in your eyes I find-
I know it’s silly and cliche to say,
But your skin keeps me tied to my mind.
It seems as if I’m overreacting,
or maybe just losing my sanity-
Insomnia caused by loneliness,
the greatest absurdity.
When you used to text me late at night,
I used to rub my eyes but smile,
But now you do the same.
I can’t help but fear you’ll die or disappear without me there to keep you tamed.
But what else am I to do?
I’m lonely and tired and that’s why I’m saying,
I’ll never stop missing you
