Fire burns slow
Ashes whisked away
It is quite a show
And it lasts all day
Sparks fly
The fire roars
Trees burn
And the flames grow
I stand alone
In a scorching blaze
Ruins meet my gaze
The house falls
The brick crumbles
The wood burns
The animals flee
As the fire rumbles
I lay in the dead grass
Looking around
I realize
That the place the flames claim
Was a place well known
For it
Was my beautiful home

I wrote this because sometimes people laugh and make fun of people for the same thing they have done and without realizing it they are laughing at themselves.
