I want to understand what you're feeling
Let me give your thoughts some meaning
I'll walk a day in your shoes
Lean the words that make you bruise
I'll feel exactly what you always conceal
Just by looking at you, I can tell you're upset
Is it someone or something you can't get
If only I could see through your eyes
And use your brain to see the invisible ties
Between you and everything around you
I want to see and feel something new
