Your lips open like two floodgates
Releasing a sentence like stinging rain of a storm
And instantly, insanely, the hurricane of emotions bombards me
Crashing over me
Pulling me under
Like waves of the ocean
And I can’t even attempt to swim
Because the tsunami of feelings
Causing my muscles to suddenly weaken
And I am physically, emotionally powerless
So the typhoon of your words
Engulfs me
Erodes me
Consumes me
