"Whatever you are, be a good one."

Life is a Cabaret,
and I want to go on living after my death
even if nobody cares very much.
because in spite of everything
I believe people really are good at heart.

Life is a stage and if so,
everyone is improvising their lines and
forgetting to enter on stage left,
freedom can be a bad thing and
Maybe the beast is only us.

And even if you are a little quiet,
a little in pain or look
a little like a skeleton
remember that life is beautiful and
no one has ever become poor by giving.

Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.
Whatever you are be a good one,
even if you don’t care or you
gave up a long time ago.

This was really great. You showed us how you felt, and I loved the comparison of life to a stage, it was excellent. Keep writing, you're a great poet! Could you check out a forum of mine? TeenInk.com/forums?act=post&topic_id=17&thread_id=80611
