James 2:24- you see a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone

It was all coming to an end but she never saw it that way
Wrapped in an old quilt in a tattered chair
“Life is harsh you know girl,” she would always say
Still shaking as she attempted to fix her gray, thin hair

The rumbling of the oxygen became a peaceful sound
Staring at me, she told her life story
From the love of her life to every memory bound
She began to cry sharing her last moments with me

I could see the struggle in her eyes
Her time was coming
To head on home to her former glory
She closed her eyes as I held her hand

It had all came to an end but she never saw it that way

The elderly are near and dear to my heart. This is a fictional poem abou tone elderly women who spent her last days with a girl who realized this woman never saw dying as the end of her journey.
