What has all happened
I am who you’ve taken a look at but kept walking
like the ocean to the city we will never meet till the end
I am the glisten in your eyes,
knowing you have something to say
but you never do
I am the clock that stopped ticking,
so confusing,
together or friends?
Love or convenient?
Miss or need…
I guess no one will ever know
I am the floss on your broken heart,
holding together the pieces broken by a ho
she will never realize what lay beneath
the freshness of who you are
I smile at every piece
I am a fling that never received the ring of forever
the constant reminder of how it feels to be loved and held.
I am the one bearing the unforgivable night
the heat aroused between us
Now I am the one suffering
this mistake we both made
I have to live on with this
I am what you left behind
to never rewind
those feelings of when you were here
