Growing Older

I hope I never grow too old
To catch fireflies.
Or to laugh out loud,
Or to sing just because I feel like it.
I hope I'll always want to have fun
And talk with friends about
TV and movies and good books.
Most importantly I hope I never
Grow so old that I can't stare
At something God made
In awe and wonder,
Just as a child would.
