It’s 3:53, isn’t it a wonderful time?
3, 5, 3, the tears fall.
Red faced, stuffy nosed.
3:54, what’s wrong?
Passes so fast.
3:53.
It will be back tomorrow.
Saturday
3:53.
I’m bleeding.
Blood on the straight-edge.
I’ll have to cover this up.
The pain swallows me whole, 3:54.
Sunday
3:53.
Staring at the wall.
Someone calls my name.
Light up the darkness.
Dropped,
plummeting into the black, 3:54.
