The empowered hands grab me,
Warning of the dangers that lurk ahead,
Yet I continue on my momentous journey,
For I wish to honor what I have said.

The muddied path I trudge along,
Lies laden with diversions and debris,
Yet I continue on my momentous journey,
For I desire to be free.

The treacheries I have endured,
Have nearly caused me to concede,
Yet I continue on my momentous journey,
For I want to succeed.
