Breathing Deeply

Beige walls,
white ceiling,
iron bed,
hardwood floor.
White sheets,
purple duvet.
Safety lies
in blankets and pillows.
Your only happiness
is being in between the sheets.
Eyes shut,
breathing deeply.
Tear stained face;
weak body,
bruised limbs,
broken heart.
Empty,
bare,
falling apart.
Nothing left.
Craving love,
despising pain.
Willing to do anything
to combat this emptiness.
