Imperfected Wounds

No one will understand will they?
We barely understand ourselves.
Expectations are too high.
We cover our hands
With those damned long sleeves.
Spending the day staring into
The mirrors that we hope dont
Shatter from ll the imperfected wounds.
They never do.
After all, its just in our heads.
But its so hard not to compare.
It is pointless really.
You may hate the mirror but
It thinks you're beautiful.
And it reflects its thoughts.
Just praying you will understand.
