I'm sorry mother, for what I said.
Our time together is short. It's hard to grasp at life.
Strings all I can ask for.
But hold me dear.
Hold me dear because I'm going to cry.
Shield me from the danger.
I'm trying to be my own man.
But that's the last thing I want to do.
Your soul and mine are intertwined.
Our beings one.
Yet we disagree on everything.
We cannot reach a middle ground.
I am willing to change. I am willing to be responsible.
Because you are my mother.
And I only get one.
Save me from myself.
