Everyone says that love will always win in the end,
but no one ever says how hard the battle will be.

No one speaks of the pain
and hurt that love will seemingly overcome.
But the worst thing that no one ever mentions
is what happens when you think love is worth it.
but you don't know if the one you love feels the same.
 
What do you do then?
Or better yet,
how do you stand the pain of waiting for them to realize they feel the same way?
because their wall is up
and all you want is for it to crumble down.

I think that is the worst.
Wanting to over come with love,
but needing to know the value.

  Things would be different
if our circumstances were simple
-then I wouldn't need to know how much value he has in this-

But, the stakes are high
and our circumstance is close to life or death.
I want to choose him,
but I won't.
Not now.
I need to know.
Does he want this?
Because I do.
Im willing to do this...
But not without him.

So for now…

and his beautiful heart to open up

                  Until then,

I'll ignore the pain

and distract myself with his beautiful smile
                                             













because to me
              
It's all worth it.
