My room is dark
And everything’s quiet.
I feel all alone
In this untrustworthy world.

And through my watering eyes
I see beautiful scenes
Of children
And happiness -

Carelessness
All around me.

But suddenly,
All the sadness
I was holding back
Floods my heart
With thick blue blood,
And a pain
I’ve never felt before
Makes my head ache.

The trees,
The sky,
The snow covered streets,
They’re all covered in blue
And I can’t get away…

But it doesn’t matter.

I feel eerily calm
Because nothing matters
Anymore.

I feel the warm tears
Streaming down my cheeks
And find myself remembering…

Things I never
Wanted to remember.

I’m surrounded by blue
And it’s so hard to breathe
And I just want to lay here forever…
Forever and ever
And ever...

But then people would wonder
And ask where I’ve gone
And when
I imagine their reactions
Once they find out --

I can’t.

Leave.

I am doomed,
Locked,
Imprisoned
By navy-blue walls
And pale-blue lights.
So many hues
All blue.

I hear calm classical music
Coming from somewhere...

And I close my eyes
Rest my head on the floor,
Overwhelmed by the thoughts
Overwhelmed by the blue
I sleep.
