The sky is dark, the sea is quiet
The city has calmed down from it's riot
Growing up alone, he's lost in time
Not far away lies a child not even nine
He ages with the seasons that come and go
Growing stronger and facing his enemy, his foe
He one day comes upon a town
Ruled by messengers of a corrupted crown
The sight of a rare scene so true
Made his face burn a different hue
He watched the miss walk towards a home
Though she was not accompanied, she was not alone
Those that followed had their reasons
Through experience he discovered their treason
When she unlocked the door of her home
She stopped and gave out a moan
Her mouth was covered, but not for long
For death swiftly began to sing it's song
The young man now delivered the hymn
To reimburse the men of an almost committed sin
He retracted his blade from the corpses lay still
The miss slowly raised her gaze from the kill
He looked at her and came to
Realizing the actions he had come to do
He expected her to look terrified, but that was not the case
There was a sense of amazement and wonder written on her face
His eyes widened at the gaze he received
Not being able to find the will to move, much less leave
She took him in and dressed his wounds gently
Making him nervous yet filling himself with a fantasy mentally
When she finished there was a wound she could not fix
The one that objects felts would always seems to miss
It was one of the heart, deep down inside
One who's pain would surely make you cry
She held him in an embrace softly and said
"Will you let me be with you until the end?"
The young man stuttered, his words came slurred
Still trying to understand the words he had heard
"D-do you mean...?" His eyes met hers to find an answer
She nodded softly, making his heart beat faster
His heart melts and his soul claims
This was not a coincidence, it was fate
For they had met long ago, in a different time
However, this is the unfortunate end of this rhyme
