She whispers
“Please forgive me”
To a man behind the wall
He reaches out with empty hands
“for what”
She starts to cry
“I love a man ive never meet”
He ponders for a moment or two
To this day she does not know
If he spoke those four words
Nothing but a whisper on the wind
“I’ll meet you soon”
The darkness closes in,
I can’t see a way out.
