My heart is broken for you, bleeding out
Your apologies are swords in my spirit
My unattainable idol is forgiveness
To look at you is to look
Upon the face of betrayal
I am incapable of trust
Crying out in sadness, silently drowning
Wading in a sea of worry and guilt.
