I think you have forgotten me
Your loyal, true-blue friend
I helped you up and
I cushioned your fall
Slowly you learned to walk
We walked together, then we ran
Feet pounding against the Earth
But then one day you learned to fly
And you left me on the ground
It's fine
You're flying with the big birds now
I'll stay here on the ground
